Commercial attaché joined the staff of the Consulate General of Lithuania in Los Angeles

Mr. Laimutis Abeciūnas, a newly appointed commercial attaché of Lithuania to the United States, will seek to promote export of Lithuanian goods and services, will explore trade and investment opportunities, tourism and will defend the interests of Lithuanian enterprises.
Currently the Ministry of Economy of Lithuania has fifteen commercial attaché posts: in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Israel, China, Russian Federation (Moscow and Saint Petersburg), Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and the newest post in the United States.
Government of Lithuania took the decision to establish the post of a commercial attaché in the Consulate General in Los Angeles in May 2016.
