Invitation to public lecture "Responding to Security Challenges: The Case of Lithuania" by Ambassador Renatas Norkus

Consulate General of Lithuania invites to the public lecture of Ambassador Renatas Norkus, Director of the Transatlantic Cooperation and Security Policy Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. Renatas Norkus will discuss Lithuania’s national security challenges and overall security challenges in the region. He will further examine NATO’s role in countering these challenges and analyze the instruments available to countries to strengthen NATO and to implement Articles 3 and 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty, as well as assessing NATO- and EU-credible deterrence capabilities.
