On December 2–4, 2025, the Consulate General of Lithuania in Los Angeles hosted the annual regional meeting of economic #TeamLithuaniaUSA. The event brought together Lithuania’s Ambassador to the U.S., Gediminas Varvuolis, Consuls General Sandra Brikaitė, Dovydas Špokauskas, and Regimantas Jablonskas, and economic teams from Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

The three-day visit, organized for the first time outside Washington, D.C., featured meaningful discussions, economic meetings, and engagement with the Lithuanian professional diaspora and other U.S. partners. The gathering provided an excellent platform to review ongoing initiatives, showcase successful business stories, and explore new opportunities for collaboration with the United States.

The intense agenda included a visit to El Segundo and discussions on the city’s dynamic ecosystem, particularly in the defense and space sectors, with Mayor Christopher Pimentel and Drew Busbee, CEO of Disruptive Technology Index (DTI), who also warmly welcomed the delegation at a special Holiday Industry Mixer. The Lithuanian delegation was delighted to bring toys to contribute to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation’s Christmas initiative.

During the meeting with Faculty Director Paulo de Rezende and long-standing partners from the UCLA Anderson School of Management Global Access Program (GAP), who have collaborated with Lithuanian companies since 2018, the ongoing benefits of this bilateral partnership were emphasized.

A key part of the visit included meeting with Honorary Consul General Daiva Navarrette and representatives of the Lithuanian American Business Association in Los Angeles to align preparations for the North American Lithuanian Business Forum in Los Angeles, scheduled for April 27–29, 2026.

The visit concluded at the California Lithuanian Credit Union, where, together with CEO Greg Brown and board members, we discussed avenues for mutual support.

Closing the gathering, Consul General of Lithuania in Los Angeles, Sandra Brikaitė, highlighted that the success of the delegation’s visit was driven by the dedicated and highly professional #TeamLithuaniaUSA, whose energy and commitment continue to strengthen Lithuania’s economic diplomacy in the United States.
